The Port of Königs Wusterhausen, with its exceptional infrastructure is excellently positioned and equipped for the future. With its road, rail and waterway connections it offers perfect access to the European transportation network. The port authority is highly motivated to continually optimise the high capacity infrastructure of the location, and has implemented its plans of the last few years by building a quay area of 400 m, a road bridge and a rail bridge.
Besides shipping traffic independent of water level, the unimpeded connection to the German freeway network, rail infrastructure with connection to the main routes of the German national network, and the construction of the airport Berlin Brandenburg, future investment in the Port of Königs Wusterhausen will, in the years to come, further strengthen the location's advantage.
