According to zoning regulations is the Port of Königs Wusterhausen categorised as an industrial area with the identification of specially earmarked zoning areas. With this, it insures the correct emissions level classification of port compatible commercial and industrial activities. The port is run according to the licensing of the Federal Emissions Regulations and has certification according to waste disposal laws.
